Television Internship
July 5 – 6, 2010
For my third week at GMA, the tasked assigned to me taught me to be patient in researching. I learned the value of being careful and detailed in what I was including in the trivia I wrote. For several hours this week, I just sat down and worked on my computer. For several hours, I felt like I was going to give up because there was no one for me to talk to. Everyone was busy with his/her respective works and I had no friends on the floor.
The highlight of this week was when I saw Tita Anabelle Rama in the elevator lobby. This woman, the mother of Richard and Ruffa Guttierrez fascinated me because she is so tall. Now I know the reason behind the towering height of the Guttierrez siblings. She seemed nice but I got shy and afraid of approaching her to have a picture because I was afraid she might shout at me, you know her mataray image precedes her. I also saw Lhar Santiago, the reporter in the segment Chika minute.
Radio Internship
July 5 – 9, 2010
This week ends my 50 hours at DZUP. After meeting with Prof. Estonilo, she gave me assignments that will require me to be at DZUP which will be beyond my 50 hours of stay. According to her, this will be the basis of my grade coming from her. This week was tiring because I really allotted my time at DZUP to finish it all. I became the technical director and traffic logger as usual in various programs.
I learned to be patient and hardworking this week. The coming weeks will be beyond my required hours but I am expecting that I will still be hardworking on the assignments that Prof. Estonilo gave me. hayzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
